I’m born and raised in Denmark. My life was pretty uneventful until I stumbled into advertising. First as a planner but I quickly realized the creatives had more fun. So I wrote my first script, snuck it into the pile and somehow it got picked, a commercial was shot and I won an award. I was now a creative. All I needed was a partner. Thankfully the agency teamed me up with a cute art director who I gratefully asked to be my wife.

Soon after the wedding we decided to explore the world. So we quit our jobs, sold our car and condo and bought two plane tickets to America. And as there is a direct flight from Copenhagen to Chicago, that’s where we ended up.

Since then I have worked for some great agencies with a lot of highly talented people. And in addition to a wonderful wife I now also have a Green Card, two amazing kids and an emotional support dog in need of emotional support.
